Focus Friday: Keep Your Faith In Tact

Posted on: April 15, 2011

Okay, we’ve gone from having faith, to losing faith, to restoring faith, to cherishing and being grateful for our faith. What’s next? Keeping your faith IN TACT!

If you haven’t experienced it already, the loss of faith can be as painful as losing someone dear to you. Depending on how you lost that person, you may have the opportunity to get them back. The same can be said about faith. Once you get them back, you’d cherish them better, right? The same can be said about faith. You wouldn’t do anything else…or allow anyone else to do anything…to jeopardize another loss, would you? The same can be said about faith. What you cherish, you protect. The best way to keep your faith in tact is to cherish it. Common sense stuff, right? Well, we all know that common sense is no longer common. Sometimes we have to just spell it out. Well, here it goes!

C-H-E-R-I-S-H  Y-O-U-R  F-A-I-T-H!!!

There! Now you have the ULTIMATE key to protecting your faith and keeping it in tact. It really is that simple. Cherish it, protect it, and never let it go! Consciously and subconsciously! It’s the best way…and in some instances, the ONLY way…to keep your faith healthy, strong, and indestructible. The more you cherish your faith, the stronger it gets, the more in tact it will remain and the less vulnerable it will be to outer and inner attacks.

For something that can’t be seen, it has a big impact on your life. That’s how you know it exists. Oxygen (which is becoming my favorite comparison) can’t be seen, yet you know it exists because you can’t live without it. Faith is just as important to have. Even though you can’t see it, you know it exist. For that reason, you should cherish what faith you have, build it up, and strengthen it as much as possible. The stronger your faith, the more in tact it is, the better your chances of reaching your intended destination. That alone is enough reason to protect it at all costs.
